Meet our Founder

William Schmitt , Founder and CEO

William “Bill” Schmitt founded Golden Eye Productions after a 31-year career with Anheuser-Busch, the #1 consumer products company in its field. His experience includes 21 years of brand marketing with 10 years of sales management positions.

Bill played an active role in the development of the Busch Satellite Network (BSN). Anheuser-Busch uses BSN to deliver sales and marketing communication to thousands of employees and distributors around the country.

Among his major accomplishments, Bill was one of two people on the brand team that introduced Bud Light in 1982. That brand is now the #1 selling beer brand in the US.

He also managed the launch of Michelob Light along with developing sales promotion activities in-store for major brands including Budweiser and Bud Light.

Bill approaches every project with passion and discipline; an approach that’s reinforced by his four years as a Marine during the Viet Nam era.

His education includes:

  • MBA course work at Southern Illinois University
  • M.A. in Marketing Management from Webster University in St. Louis
  • B.S. in Public Relations/Journalism from Central Missouri State University
